We do not have prerequisite courses, but many students have found it helpful to have background in calculus, statistics, linear algebra, probability and programming. Students have also found it helpful to take a course (online is acceptable) in computer programming such as R or Python. All applicants whose native language is not English and who have not received their entire undergraduate education in an English-speaking country must submit scores from one of two internationally recognized assessments of English language proficiency, the International English Language Testing System (IELTS) or the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL).
