Students with a bachelor of science in chemical engineering degree from a school accredited by the American Institute of Chemical Engineering Council for Professional Development usually fulfill requirements for consideration for admission.Other students, including those with a bachelor’s degree in chemistry, physics, engineering, engineering science, orgeology (geochemistry), must have a background the department considers satisfactory for the study of advanced chemical engineering.
